All Rise Alameda fights to promote democracy and elect Democrats/progressives in key races around the country. You can too! Join us in contacting voters through door-to-door canvassing, phone/text banking, letter/postcard writing, fundraising, and other strategies that make a direct impact on election results. We invite you to do what you can when you can. If we all do a little, we can accomplish a lot!
ALL RISE ALAMEDA
All Rise Alameda is an all-volunteer grassroots group that formed after the Women's March in January of 2017 and we’ve stuck together ever since. We first focused our work on helping win Democratic control of the House of Representatives in the 2018 midterm elections—a successful effort! We directly supported the winning campaigns of Democratic Representative Josh Harder in CA District 10 (Tracy area) and other Democrats in battleground states. During 2019, we funded the work of a young California organizer who traveled to Virginia for their statewide elections—and in that contest, Democrats took control of the legislature.
In 2020, we declared these goals: "Hold the House! Secure the Senate! Dump Trump!" Again—all successful efforts! We also generated more than 30,000 letters to voters before the November 2020 election, participated in phone and text banks, contributed funds, and worked on various campaigns for state and local offices in races from Florida and Georgia to Iowa and Arizona. We stayed active during the 2022 midterm elections, and worked on the winning Senate campaigns of Mark Kelly in Arizona and Catherine CortezMasto in Nevada – and the successful effort to keep Rep. Josh Harder in Congress through our long-time partnership with the Democratic Club of Greater Tracy. For the 2024 election cycle—and beyond—All Rise Alameda members remain committed to getting out the vote to help elect Democrats and progressives in California and throughout the country.
